Rhode Island – September 28, 2026 – Pannone Devereaux & O’Gara LLC (PDO) today announced that established law firm Gilstein, Kinder & Levin, LLP (GKL), formerly Armstrong, Gibbons & Gnys, LLP, has joined the firm. Attorneys Andrew M. Gilstein, Ralph M. Kinder and Carl S. Levin will serve as Partners of PDO, along with Paralegals, Linda Kelly and Cathy Brien and Legal Administrative Assistant, Roxanne Castano.
Gilstein, Kinder & Levin bring decades of legal experience and successful practice areas that complement many of PDO’s existing capabilities, including corporate and business law, real estate, employment law, construction law, civil litigation, and trust and estate planning, administration and probate. The team also brings additional capabilities in personal injury, criminal defense, tax matters, and zoning and land use.
Attorney Gilstein has practiced law in Rhode Island for nearly five decades, representing individuals, families, businesses and nonprofit organizations in corporate and business law, commercial and residential real estate, title matters and estate planning and probate. He has extensive experience handling state and federal estate tax matters. He has also been a member of various civic and non-profit organizations.
Attorney Kinder has built a distinguished legal career advising individuals on estate planning and probate administration, as well as businesses on a wide range of matters, including business formations, employment matters, commercial transactions, contracts and leases, commercial and residential real estate transactions, zoning and land use, title matters and litigation. He has also been actively involved in numerous civic, charitable and community organizations throughout Rhode Island.
Attorney Levin is an accomplished trial attorney whose practice focuses on business, construction and civil litigation, probate and real estate litigation, personal injury, criminal defense and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to entering private practice, he served for more than ten years as a prosecutor with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General, where he prosecuted significant criminal cases ranging from murder and arson to environmental and white collar crimes.
