Carl S. Levin is a Partner with Pannone Devereaux & O’Gara LLC. He is an accomplished trial attorney whose practice focuses on business, construction and civil litigation, probate and real estate litigation, personal injury, criminal defense and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to joining PDO, Attorney Levin was a founding partner of Gilstein, Kinder & Levin, LLP.

Attorney Levin represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of disputes, including breach of contract claims, non-compete, non-solicitation and nondisclosure matters, fiduciary duty claims, shareholder disputes, adverse possession and commercial evictions. Attorney Levin’s construction practice includes Mechanics’ liens, contract disputes, building code violations, warranty and delay claims, change order disputes and preparing construction contracts. He also represents clients in arbitration and mediation. His personal injury practice includes motor vehicle and construction accidents, and his criminal defense practice focuses on driving under the influence, misdemeanors and felony offenses.

Before entering private practice, Attorney Levin served for more than ten years as a prosecutor with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General, where he prosecuted significant criminal cases, including murder, arson, driving fatalities, narcotics and weapons offenses, environmental crimes and white collar crimes. He began his legal career in 1985 as Staff Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Legislation and National Security.

Attorney Levin earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island, where he majored in Political Science and English. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
Attorney Levin is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers Association. He serves as a Board Member of the Greater Providence Hebrew Free Loan Association.
